Some great quotes...

Nihil nobis metuendum est, praeter metum ipsum.- Julius Caesar (We have not to fear anything, except fear itself.)

Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. - Jesus

Possunt, quia posse videntur. (They can because they think they can.)- Virgil in The Aeneid

Flectere si nequeo superos, Acheronta movebo. (If I can not bend heaven, I will move hell.) -Virgil

I knew a man once who said, "Death smiles at us all. All a man can do is smile back."- Maximus in the movie "Gladiator"

"And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remember'd;
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition:
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day"
King Henry V in Shakespeare's play Henry V

Argue with me...I dare you...

I HATE FRANCE!

Of all the places ever created in the world France must be the worst. It is a culture that specializes in looking down upon everyone else, even though they have absolutely nothing to be proud of.

-They have one of the worst military records in the world.
-Their country is being flooded by Islamic fundamentalists and yet they do nothing about it
-They constantly criticize America
-America ends up cleaning up France's mistakes (i.e. Vietnam)
-French fries were not even created by the French.
-Their cars suck.
-All in all, its just a terrible place.

First Post on Sheer Awesomeness

Well... this is the blog about anything and everything. I encourage debate...especially on issues of race relations, military history, religion, politics, and of course other controversial social issues. I personally find disagreement to be fun so will be more than willing to host opinions opposing my own. Anyways, due to the load of academic work before me, odds are this blog will be "under construction" for some time. Hopefully it will be complete at some point in the forseeable future...
